The GWIS Madison Chapter recently held their annual kickoff meeting (smooth segue from kicking things off to an actual "kick-off" meeting) for this year! They had a full agenda ranging from discussion of semester events to welcoming new members including the opportunity to take professional headshots! Generous portions of pizza made this a successful event, we are sure! |

Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae (Movie streaming currently available on Amazon Prime*) Event date and time: February 15th 2023 at 7pmPlease watch the film and join this online discussion about the portrayal of female African-American mathematicians who served vital roles in NASA during the early U.S. space program. We hope you feel the same as well! |
