Rho Tau Chapter First Annual T-Shirt Fundraiser Thursday, June 5, 2014   (0 Comments) Share | Show off your nerd pride with our ‘This is what a scientist looks like’ T-shirt! The Rho Tau chapter of Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) in North Carolina is hosting its first annual T-shirt fundraiser! Please support GWIS (a non-profit organization) by helping us achieve our 2014 Fundraising goal of $1000! Throughout May, we will be selling two shirts, a fitted unisex (pictured on volunteers below) and a ladies-fit. GWIS will retain a portion of the proceeds to support chapter events such as science education and outreach to K-12 students, professional development opportunities for local scientists, science festivals, career fairs, and promotion of gender equality in the sciences.
