Join us Friday, June 23rd at the GWIS National Conference in State College PA for a Book Club Chat! Friday afternoon at 4:30pm. We'll meet Rachel Pastan, author of "In the Field", a novel about a brilliant female geneticist born in the 1920s. Feel free to find the book at local bookstores or online (Indiebound, Amazon, Audible, etc), but you do not have to read the book to join us!! It will be a great hour discussing the challenges and beauty of being a scientist, especially a female scientist in the world of competitive, and male-dominated, science. We are so excited Rachel is joining us in person!! Come hear more about her work! |
