GWIS Fellowship Evaluation Committee
Volunteers needed!

We are hoping to recruit a few more individuals who are interested in serving on the GWIS Fellowship Evaluation Committee! As a committee member, you will manage 3-5 applications of your choosing and identify expert reviewers to complete an evaluation by May 15th, which should only be about 5 hours of total work between now and the review deadline. If you are interested in serving on the committee, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing us at fellowships@gwis.org, so we can get you added to the committee member portal and provide you access to additional resources.

GWIS Represents:
Empower women in science via the Association of Science Communicators

Registration is now open for Science Talk ‘25, the annual conference of the Association of Science Communicators. At ASC, we believe that science is a human right. Connecting the multifaceted world of science communicators is critical for building a strong and knowledgeable society.

SCIENCE TALK ’25 is taking place as a hybrid conference April 3-4 in person in Raleigh, North Carolina, and with real-time online participation. Conference registration is now open! We are also accepting abstracts for the poster/art session until the end of this Week, March 7th 2025.

The conference theme for 2025 is Science With Society, reflecting our view that science and society are deeply intertwined. Do you share that perspective? Join us!
We look forward to seeing you at Science Talk ’25.
